Cut Fixtures for Bandsaw

I designed and 3D printed cut fixtures to cut a device at specific angles in a bandsaw for internal visibility. This was part of a larger project to assist test processes for new product development.

Process

1. Used calipers to measure dimensions of bandsaw​

2. Experimented to find the best way to feed device through bandsaw

3. Used measure tool in SolidWorks to design cut fixtures based on previous measurements
