CAD Projects
I designed a prototype for a new lithium ion battery housing for a patient positioning arm, with the goal of making it not cross-compatible with the old charger. I made drawings to perform tolerance analysis on the new housing.

I took dimensions and created engineering drawings of OEM foam hip surgery kit components in SolidWorks as part of a project to reverse engineer the device.

I designed and created a drone in SolidWorks by first making the individual parts (body, motors, propellers, camera) and then assembling them. I then created an animation of the drone in flight.

I modeled the exterior and interior components of a handheld sewing machine in SolidWorks by first designing the casing, then assembling all the individual components. The parts are exact to an original sewing machine that was deconstructed and measured.

I designed in SolidWorks and 3D printed cut fixtures to cut a device at specific angles in a bandsaw for internal visibility. This was part of a larger project to assist test processes for new product development.

I modeled a Conair 1875 hairdryer using pictures of the left, back, front, and right views labeled with dimensions. and then assembling them. I also created a parting line and included fasteners and ribs on the inside of the hairdryer.

I set up and solved a finite element model of a pull-up bar with a distributed load in the middle and fixed geometries on both ends using SolidWorks Simulation. I then halved the bar and applied a symmetry fixture to produce the same results.

I set up and solved a finite element model of a beam with fixed boundary conditions and a downward shear force at the end using SolidWorks Simulation.
